School Enrichment Courses
Primary school is an amazing age for learning new skills that stay with you for life.
The enrichment course offers the perfect opportunity for 10-12 year olds to get an insight on how a car works.
Usually 60-90mins long, I provide the learner vehicle as well as tools required for the pupils to be able to identify the main under bonnet components, understand the purpose of jump leads and how to use them safely. Identify the safety requirements of a tyre, and how to change a flat wheel.
Under 18’s Basic Vehicle Maintenance & Theory Test Preparation Course
My most popular course!
This course is built for 14-18 year olds but can cater to any age group.
Based in house at Women’s Tec, Chichester Avenue, Belfast.
With all tools and equipment provided as well as a training vehicle, IPads for digital quizzes and all paperwork provided.
This is the perfect course for anyone thinking of sitting their driving test. There is time allocated to answer some theory questions as well as hazard perception practice and an open floor for Q&A.
Followed by an introduction to basic vehicle maintenance, identifying under bonnet components, using jump leads safely, what certain dash lights mean followed by a tyre safety demonstration and wheel change opportunity.
All students then receive a Glove Box Guide created my myself, with all the essential info included to take home with them.
Basic Vehicle Maintenance & Car Buying Tips Course
A course built for any age group, based in house at Women’s Tec, Chichester Avenue, Belfast.
With all tools and equipment provided as well as a training vehicle, IPads for digital quizzes and all paperwork provided.
This is the perfect course for anyone that’s already on the road or already holds a driving license. The course includes an open floor Q&A to answer all the burning car questions. Followed by an introduction to basic vehicle maintenance, identifying under bonnet components, using jump leads safely, what certain dash lights mean followed by a tyre safety demonstration and wheel change opportunity.
This course also includes allocated time for car buying tips and what to expect when your car goes into the garage for a service.
All students then receive a Glove Box Guide created my myself, with all the essential info included to take home with them.
